Mind Hacks #31 Finding Your Flow

What is ‘Flow’?

A state in which your attention becomes split by conflicting demands. Consciousness is experienced as depressing, stressful, or anxiety-producing. You may feel very self-conscious and worry about how you are doing or how others are judging you.

What ‘Flow’ is not?

A state in which you are so involved in an activity that nothing else seems to matter. The experience itself is so enjoyable that you do it for the sheer sake of doing it. Consciousness is harmoniously ordered. Your attention is singularly focussed like a laser beam.
